THE HOLY CHALICE ...

I felt inspired today to share two of my testimonies. This is one and separately I will post "The Emerald Garden." These two articles are excerpts from my book, entitled "A Little Child."

My doctor told me it was an illusion. (This doctor grew up in the Philippines and he believed in a devil/demons, so I guess he didnt want me to tell the story for my safety.) However, I KNOW IT WAS NOT AN ILLUSION. I never had an hallucination ever during the course of my affliction. Afterwards I read of visions happening years ago ... in a four volume set called "The City of God" by Sister Mary Agreda of Spain.

... The night before I went to the hospital many years ago, there were thoughts in my mind that God was going to destroy my parents -- that they were evil. I always felt my very religious family was bothered by demons. (In my favorite book, called "He and I" [published by Librarie Mediaspaul in Canada] ... God, through interior locution to a French actress, says that all the thoughts we need are planted by Him.)

The whole night I prayed for my parents. I said, "Remember, dear God, when my Dad did this for me, or when my Mom did that?" As I prayed, a beautiful pure white Chalice appeared the whole night from the electric hair rollers which I had forgotten to turn off. It had a red on-light showing. By all means, the Chalice should have been red -- but it was the PUREST WHITE I have ever seen. IT WAS NO ILLUSION, NO ONE CAN TELL ME THAT.

At that time I never gave a Chalice a second thought. If I were to "see" something, it would have been a cross or something to do with The Holy Family. For those wondering what a Chalice is ... it is the beautifully decorated Cup which a Priest gives Holy Communion from.

THERE IS CERTAINLY A GOD.

In the book I mentioned above ... it tells all about Visions and how many times they do come from the Evil Ones ... but when Holy God wants to give one ... or if He wants to give us a dream ... He can do all things for His greater purposes. There were visions given throughout the Bible. I read in this book, Volume I (The Conception) #'s 639 and 640, all about visions from angels, too, by an alteration of the intervening air.

Adam saw God represented in the form of an angel (Gen. 3,8); Abraham saw three angels (Gen. 17,1); Moses saw a bush (Exod. 3,2), and many times the Lord Himself. "Likewise others, who were sinners, have had corporeal or imaginary visions: as for instance Cain (Gen. 4,9), Baltassar (Dan. 5,5), who saw the hand on the wall; then imaginary visions, as for instance Pharao (Gen. 41,2) in the vision of the cows; Nabuchodonozor, that of the tree and the statue (Dan. 4,12, 2,1) and others recorded in Holy Scriptures."

I'm not totally sure how my vision came, but nonetheless, I treasure it with my whole heart and soul and wanted to share it with the readers. Today's people can surely come up with other theories about visions ... brain chemistry, etc. TIMES DON'T CHANGE. IT IS THE PEOPLE WHO DO.
