It All Began

It all began in a garden
Out of the dust, mankind molding,
Reaching on down with loving hands,
The Lord scooped up a lump of clay.

It all began one special day,
Forming with care out of the sands,
God Himself, Adam creating
Out of the dirt, there in Eden.

It all began in a garden
Into the clay, Spirit breathing,
In His image, according to plans,
A Living Soul on the sixth day.

It all began one special day,
Greeted by the angelic bands,
Creation’s crown met with singing,
There in a place, a place called Eden.
