It may be raining on, the outside
but, not in my soul
Pouring here, and pouring there
but, my life, God does hold

You can accept the rain with gladness
and cherish every little drop
It won't dampen what you have inside
but will only water the crop

That God has already planted
and it will come up, in it's due time
So let the rain, have it's day
I will keep, the word of God in mind

knowing the rain will pass, like anything else
it's only for a while
So I'll praise God, in whatever the case
for he's my Father, and I'm his child
