As Christians we are called from a mind of simplicity in the sense that we are not to conform to the world but to stand out, to excel in all aspects of our lives by getting wisdom. We are to be the head always to stand at the forefront shining as light.
A lack of knowledge is a killer. It robs us of the right to a better way of living and doing things. The simple will take things as they see it and be satisfied but wisdom searches out a matter and seek to improve on it to make a better individual of us all. Where do you need improvement and self development? Where do you need wisdom? It may be in your relationship with others, the wisdom to tread softly to listen before speaking or not to speak at all. It may be the wisdom to understand and then tolerate other people’s weaknesses knowing that we all have ours.
You may need wisdom in other aspects like your marriage, career, finances, kids or other issues pertaining to what you have built your values around. Whatever the case may be today is a call to diligently seek wisdom so that we do not always have to struggle with issues and at the long run, we can say we are better people inside out.

Ask yourself this:
What is my plan to improve myself so that a few years from now, I will not be where I am standing today?
