My Heart, Soul, and Being

My heart cries for those who are lost
Use me to reach them, no matter the cost
I cannot rest while my loved ones are astray
Help me, Holy Spirit, to show them the Way

My soul yearns for the captives to be free
Bless them and open their eyes so they see
That I too was once lost, but now I am found
Aid me, Lord; reach them before the trumpet sounds

My being calls out for all the broken-hearted
Those whom have fallen before getting started
Let them see and accept Your grace from up above
Abide in me, O God, as I show them Your great love

As my heart, soul, and being lifts up these prayers
My faith is in Our Father who truly hears and cares
Though some sheep have strayed out into the cold
Our Great Shepherd will return them to the fold
