Salvation

Tears that explode from my chest
A bird of impurity has left its nest
And in it the purest of doves has laid to rest

An inward joy begins to burst
Nourishing hunger and Godly thirst
He came and walked and loved me first

His words gave freedom, power, healing
His blood so thick it consumed all the sinning
My eyes have not seen my heart only feels
And what was once broken he has now healed

The dove sings forever a song of joy in my heart
From his nest come fruitful melodies, seeds filled with art
They are seeds for a journey I need to embark
Where more wonderful explosions can be planted and start.
