To not delve into divine sagacity,
Not looking up, he must then look down;
And not gaze upon the Majesty,
He cannot see divine’s wisdom crown;

The stupid are those who do not seek Him,
They will stay with their carnal folly,
Not wishing to account self for sin;
Subject to all of Lucifer’s jolly;

May Your ways be all my desire,
There’s much to learn from Your heart;
Make knowledge of You be my fire,
So by Your Spirit, please impart;

I dread the destiny of the stupid,
Their end will be the way of the worm;
I wish to not be spiritual death’s cupid,
Subject to an eternal squirm.
