God Never Change

God is true to His character. He never changes. He is the same yesterday, today and forever. He is a covenant keeping God and keeps every one of His promises.

Life, however, changes. Crises come through illness, job pressures, family troubles to mention but just a few.

You can find yourself in a gloomy period, when you are overwhelmed by your trials to the point that even God’s ways seem confusing. At these moments it is important to remember who God is and hold on to these three important truths:

(a) God is always with you. You do not go through this alone. The One who walks with you will not fail you. Fear need not be your companion for God is. He is the lily in the valley.

(b) God is a God of purpose. He has a purpose for allowing those dark moments. Your situation may seem contrary to the way you envisioned your life, but God would not allow it if He could not use it for something good. Frustration can be replaced by hope because God is at work in your life. (Jeremiah 29:11).

(c) God is faithful: You can rely on God in your hardest times, in your most confusing moments, and even when all evidence says otherwise. As you trust in God’s faithfulness, confusion and heartache will be replaced by peace. (1 Corinthians 1:9).

Remember that you are an overcomer through Christ Jesus.

God, who has called you into fellowship with His Son Jesus Christ our Lord, is faithful and He will surely see you through every difficult situation that comes your way.
