Shoulder to Shoulder, Arm in Arm
In your grief I stand too,
My sadness for you brings tears to my eyes
I don’t know what to say or what to do.
I can only imagine your sense of pain
I feel so helpless but I act,
I pray in the spirit without delay
In Jesus’ mighty and precious name.

Many of us feel your sorrow
We empathise with you very strongly
We walk and feel your deep hurt
We lift you up in prayer…
Constantly and lovingly.
May Father God begin to strengthen you
May he wipe away every tear
Just hold his everlasting hand
I know it’s not easy,
But I promise he will be there

Today, rest in His everlasting arms
Press on, but enter His rest
He has designed it that way
For all of us
He will only give you His best.
Please remember that we do not forget
Just what you are going through
You are precious, so precious, words cannot express,
May you have the Peace of God
And the Love of God
In your life,
And in all and everything you do.
