You say

You say It’s too hard to give up
That habit,
You say God wouldn’t care about you,
You say you’ve lived this way for so long,
Whats the point?
You do, what you do!
You say this lifestyle suits you down to the ground
Your easy going, laid back and a scream
Yet deep inside its hollow, your soul
Your days are like some kind of a dream
You say
“I wont expect anything good,
Ill just hold onto what I’ve got,
Maybe ill promote myself and look to be good
thats what i'll do, why not?
And Ill redeem myself, It cant be too hard
Give to charity, look after family like every good fellow should
Then ill feel atoned, for my wretched mind
Ill keep my life, warts and all, ill just try and be a bit more kind”

Friend

With Gods Love I love you my friend
So I must say to you
Please Don’t settle for second best
God wants for you to taste and see his goodness
He wouldn’t want anything less!
Look deep within your soul
Don’t’ you want to know the Master of the universe?
The one who holds the keys to life
Don’t you want to know who’s behind it all
Don’t you want to know, why Christians follow the call
Don’t you want to know?

Don’t you want to know
He who can transform you at the blink of an eye
He who will teach you because you are worth the truth,
and never ever a demonic lie
He who will promote you into things you never dared dream
He who will chastise you, because his love for you is supreme
He who will shield you from the noisome pestilence and arrow by night
He who will Defend you from plots and plans that are construed out of sight

Don’t you want to know
He who will arise and scatter the enemy, even the confederate
He who will surprise the Armies, and turn back the belligerent
He who will use the vilest for his purpose and his plan
He who will save the maddest just because he’s God, and he can
He who holds the whole universe in the palm of his hand
He who allows the earth to reel backward to and fro
Knowing fully well he’s in control of each and every land

You are precious friend, this you must know
There is none like you
If you will take the plunge and dare to surrender
God will meet you right where you are
I promise, he will make you brand new
God loves you my brother, and you too my sister,
God loves you and you and you,
Get to know the one who died on the rugged cross
Hear me now,
You no longer need to be dazed and confused and forever lost.
He’s real
Oh yes
He’s real
It just so happens to be, the reality!
So what do you say?
Will you walk this way?
Come on, my Friend don’t delay,
I’m praying for you
Make Jesus your Lord and saviour today.
For Today is your day of salvation
Now, What do you say?
