I love going out to the shore,
As if it be the ocean's door;
Like the sea touches the sky,
Awestruck as I release a sigh.

Noble waves flowing inward,
Just as voices could be heard;
Maybe it is sailors of the past,
Drowned to breathe their last.

While standing on the beach,
Wet feet as tide begin to reach;
And I feel the gentle breeze,
Start flowing around my knees;

As the setting of the fiery sun,
Telling us that the day is done;
A big red ball sinks into the sea,
As though it sends out its decree.

God has willed it for to return,
Through another day to sojourn;
Leaving a reminder for the night,
As the moon rises shining its light.
