I love to take a walk along a trail,
Over the hill and through the dale;
Sitting next to a babbling brook,
Not worrying just how long it took.

Especially aft having a misty rain,
As drops on the leaves still retain;
For it makes all so fresh and clean,
As sunlight glistening with a sheen.

I hear the rustling sound of leaves,
Around trees as the wind weaves;
A bird chirping her song over head,
As it ensures her babies are fed.

A tranquil sight for these sore eyes,
The thought and care to comprise;
Everything perfected to the degree,
Majestic splendor pleasing to see.

It is no wonder when God was done,
Whence He had started with the sun;
So awesome of a sight as it should,
After seeing that everything was good.
