O' life what is on your menu list
what kind of recipe will you use
Could it be a dish you want to serve
that my heart wants to refuse

Now I know you will try to fix me up
with things that I must wear
But let me pack up my suit-case mind
with thoughts and a lot of care

First about this precious life of mines
that comes along with it's bad trips
But, what can I do, but take that leap
even if times I slips

For there will be plates I'll hate to eat
though I did not pick them
But I'll have to taste what come on it
even when it's dark and dim

The word says, is anything to hard for God
what is it that he can't do
Well don't take no thoughts, just shut it off
and he'll keep his word with you

Open up the shades of your heart
and let the Sun shine in;
For there's no darkness that can stop him
when he lets his power descend

Go and gather up all your sorrows
and let him banish every fear
O' precious heart take heart and hear him
because, deliverance is near

Fret no more O' heart of mine
for your Savior he is never late
Now begin to rejoice of this good news
for he does hold your date

The calendar has already been prepared
each number he did pick and choose
Now O' heart of mine it's now the time
for with God you cannot lose

though sorrows come and worries flow
just let God fill you within
by listing to his words of life
just let him heal and mend

Don't even try to fix it-
leave the problems in his hands
Don't let those hang-up tie you up
but let him loose the bands

We have to empty out of our minds
so he can fill the need
The answer we seek he will satisfy
and also help us to succeed

Now the silent heart is waiting
it has now took it's rest;
And will trust in God all the way
for he does know the best
