A safe home
To call my own
Where I can lie down with no one to make me afraid

Why do I stay?

Because of my lack of funds
And a brain to think through scenarios
And information

Where are those investigative powers?
Did they get lost in the luxurious shower?

I enjoyed the luminaries
Too bad the light didn’t go off early enough.

Now I know
A whole new scenario
But same old habits.

Who will save me form this pattern of sin?
Christ Jesus. It is him.


Lack of power
Which shower?

Could have planned better
Thought it through
Worked, earned, and planned
Think.
After all, God gave us brains to use.

No excuse.

I just wanted to be happy.
Be who I am.
Do what I love.
And be in a safe environment.

There’s only one safe home.

Get me there God.
