When you give out of your life's abundance
rather it be big or small
Then a loving God will give it back
for he is gracious after all

It is he that fills each spoon there is-
so we can feed each need
O' look how merciful, is his doings
when we do a good deed

His source's will never ever run thin
but will flourish like a flower;
Spreading all out, in fullness, to satisfy
and that is whatever the hour

A full spoon of kindness is one of them
another, of comfort of peace;
And then sweet words, in ounce's of joy
to make the sorrows cease

Now do take that spoon of gladness
to give the heart some cheer;
Then give those dose's of encouragement
so they can feel their dear

Don't forget the spoon-full of hope
when they feel a bit down;
That it will lift them up again
so they can go another round

Then there is this spoon of happiness
to make them smile with glee;
Let them take as much to stop the sadness
and then they will be free

Such spoon-fulls of these kind of treats
will make the heart rejoice;
For what God gives will always work
when we obey his voice

For everything comes by grace and mercy
that he gives to us each day;
And each spoon is seasoned with his love
that will never go away

Now just open up your mouths door
and take these spoons of life;
Let the dose's flow down in your soul
and you won't need a knife

Let us lay aside the negativity
take the posistive spoon of grace;
Go on use the one that can hold the most
so it can quickly fill the space

Our God has so much he wants to give
whenever we get empty inside
And he has the solution to fill the gapes
so let him come in and abide
