Some days just fly by where everything falls into place and things actually get done. Then there are other days where I keep thinking there is something I need to do…tons of things to do and I never can remember it until all of a sudden it hits me at 10pm everything that I have to do that never got done and not enough time in the evening to get it done! Those days I go to sleep with the list running over in my head so fast that I can’t pull just one thing out of my head. I often wake up not remembering a single blasted thing I had to do but knowing I still have a ton of it, hoping it will get done in time.

Ahhh the joys of being a mother of 3, wife to a busy husband, full-time university student AND a direct sales consultant! Not to mention, all the church activities and homeschooling activities and mom meetings and playdates and meals to cook and errands to run. Well, okay, you get the drift. Often, I think WHATEVER got me into all this?? How did I get here??? Can I return any of it?

Oh don’t get me wrong-I LOVE my kids, I LOVE my husband and I LOVE my life. It could be A LOT worse! I LOVE God. I trust His will for my life. However, often I have to lean on that verse that says I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me and the other verse that says I will not give you more than you can handle….and then I wonder-can I really handle all this? Am I doing any of it right? Will I ever get to relax? Do I ever want to really relax? Won’t that be boring?

Okay so you are probably wondering what in the world is this gal all about? Why is this book even in existence? This book is my way of providing some encouragement for all the women out there who struggle each day to be Godly wives, mothers, & women here in the good ol’ US of A! This book is here to share the sanity and insanity of each day in the lives of many normal Christian mothers that God has allowed their life’s path to weave with mine. Some have written their own story, some I have shared as part of my story. All these women I have learned from and been inspired by. I hope that you are too…
