Facts will often change the face
Of what our God has said.
Looking at the facts will cause
A trembling heart to dread.

We're tired and we're weary
All our strength is spent.
Doing what you've called us to
Knowing we've been sent.

But you have said, Come unto me
And I will give you rest.
Stop a moment, hear My Voice,
And you'll be truly blessed".

In the times of your great busyness,
I have chosen to
Give you sunshine, rain and trees,
And flowers not a few.

Whatever's lovely, true an pure
And of a good report.
Think on these things my dearest friend.
Life is much to short,

Too short to magnify the things.
That soon will pass away.
But love remains to hold you fast
And help you through each day
