The Word

Awakening in my heart
The truths of God’s Word
Pushes me ever forward
To seek and know my Lord.

What once I could not comprehend
To me is now so clear
as the Holy Spirit fills me
And enables me to hear.

I once was blind, but now I see
Just like the man in the story
God opened the eyes of my heart
To behold His Majesty and Glory

This book of life He’s given me
To study each and every day
The Great Comforter abides within
When I open it and pray

I dream of heaven’s promise
I awake each day with joy
The blessed hope of Jesus’ return
It’s all I’m longing for……..
