Faith

I woke to see a blue sky smiling in at me,
a mockingbird serenading a song - sardonically.

The sun's climbing above the old red barn,
a Robin flies into her nest with a beak of yarn.

Old Farmer Joe's milking his cows,
a cat in the barn nestles his legs and meows.

Mamma lamb wandered far from her young,
their (baa - baa) cries for help have begun.

A colt gallops to keep up with the herd,
scaring a bunch of bush hidden blackbirds.

A gurgling stream's washing it rocks,
our grandfather clock rocks, tick-tock, tick-tock.

The cook stove puts out plenty of warmth,
a brilliant sunshine heats up the earth.

I look up into the colossal sky,
His kindness deposits a radiance in my eyes.
