A Love So Great !

The Word of God tells me in (Jeremiah 31:3 KJV) that God loves his children with an
everlasting love. It is hard to understand the depth of a love so great. It says God loves
me all the time. When I am angry, he loves me. When I want to punish someone for a
wrong done me, he loves me. If I am happy he loves me. If I forget to praise him for his
goodness, he loves me. If I fail to be obedient to his promptings, he loves. When I come
crying to him because my choices have brought me grief, he loves me. The love of my
Heavenly Father is eternal, unceasing, without end. It doesn't matter how often or how
badly I mess up I can always come back to him and he will reach out in love.
Yes, he wants me to do my best to follow his path, he helps me when I will ask for it.
Too often, just like the two year sold learning to dress him self, I want to do it myself. It is
those times I find things are not going like they should and those times are when I need
his love the most. He always gives it liberally.
The wonder of it all is not that I love God. It is that He loves me with such a great love.
A love with no end, it goes on, and on, and on, and on……..
