Listen as the wind blows
softly through the trees.
Listen to the crickets sing.
Inhale the evening breeze.

Watch the sun fade
as the sunset appears.
Watch as nature prepares for rest.
Nighttime is near.

Hear the birds sing lullabies
putting the earth to sleep.
Hear the hush of the evening
as daytime leaves.

The stars appear
one by one.
Evening has come.
Day is done.
