For all that You are,
For all that You’ve done.
For loving the world so much,
That You’d give Your only son.

I praise You for bearing with me
When I fall short of Your expectations.
I praise You for opening the doors,
So Your word can be heard in all nations.

I praise Your faithfulness Lord,
You’re always there for me.
Whatever I’m facing, I know in my heart,
That’s where You will also be.

Your love, Your power and wisdom,
Are beyond understanding, beyond compare.
You’re all-knowing, omnipotent omnipresent,
You never give me any more than I can bear.

It seems so inadequate,
Such a small show of praise.
In comparison to His sacrifice,
A debt that could never be repaid.

Praising You in the ways I know,
Is all I know to do.
Through song and poems, and telling others,
About Your Word, and Your promises too.

I don’t know how non-believers,
Face each day, with all life’s pain & strife.
Without having You to turn to Lord,
Without having You in their life.

For all that You’ve sacrificed
For all that You’ve brought me through.
I’m trusting you more each day Lord,
That’s why I love praising You!
