Thank-you Lord,
For letting my heart, feel again.
You always lift me up,
No matter how far down I’ve been.

There was a time of sorrow,
A very long time ago,
When I felt numb & yet felt nothing,
With weakened faith, I just didn’t know…

If my heart would ever be mended,
Though I wasn’t usually, one who would doubt,
Being empty & hollow back then I learned,
What a broken heart was all about.

But my Lord let my heart feel again,
Just as I prayed He would,
He made my heart whole and filled it up,
My God is faithful, my God is so good.

I know there’s no problem too big or small,
That my God can’t bring me through.
At times He’s brought me from the depths of despair,
He eased my pain and made my heart new.

This past year, life’s stress had me beaten down,
I was tired & weak, and life seemed rough,
It felt as if everyone wanted more than I could give,
But no matter what I did it was never enough.

But through God’s grace & constant prayer,
And leaving my heart in His hands,
He let my heart feel once again,
Letting me know it was all part of His Plan.

Thank you Lord, for letting me feel again,
Although from here, it seemed to take so long,
I know through these trials & struggles I face,
You use it to make me strong.

As You strengthened my heart, You filled it back up,
With hope, love & desire.
It’s so good to have my passion back,
It’s so good to feel the fire.

Lord, thank you for letting me know you were here,
Let me continue to feel You in all that I do.
Now Lord, that my heart can feel once again,
Please use it to bring Glory to You.
