Revelation the Slave, Servant –Saviour
Emptied himself of his glory, his position
Though in the form God became a man,
Equal with God yet made Himself of no reputation
(Zech 9:9, came lowly on an ass yet triumphal entry Mark11:7,9)
Silent to accusation (Isa53:7, Mark 15:4,5)_
Accused by false witnesses (Ps.35:11, Mark 14:57, 58)
No outwardly attractive features
here to do the Father’s business
Not quenching a dimly burning flask
A bruised reed he would not break
The son of God
Laid aside all his majesty
Scorned and mocked Ps, 22:7,8, Luke23:35
Seed of a woman (Gen3: 15, Gal4:4)
Born in a manger, in a stable
No room in the inn
Gave his life as a ransom
Judea was highly respected
Hailing from backward, the least
Galilee was looked down on

Revelation of His humanity
The Son of Man came to seek and to save
that which was lost Luke 10:19
Seed of Isaac (Gen.17:19, Luke 3:34)_
From the tribe of Judah (Gen49:10, Luke3:33)
Heir to the throne of David (Luke1:32,33)
Born in Bethlehem (Luke 2:4,5 ,7)
Born of a Virgin (Isa7:14, Luke1:26, 27

Revelation of His deity
God with us,
God made flesh to dwell among us.
In the beginning was the word and the word was with God
and the word was God, the Eternal Son
the I AM, THAT I AM
through Him all things were made
and without was anything made that was made.
In him was life which lighted every man
Son of God, Son of Man, Lord, Saviour
Messiah, the Light of the world, the Bread of Life
A depiction of our inheritance in Christ
Now dwells within us imparting His life to us to live as He lived
Given Himself to us, to live through us as He lived called to be a Kingdom of priests, yet serving one another, serving Him , humbling ourselves seeking His glory and honour, His pleasure, His kingdom, having the same mind that He had.
