Dear friends:
God has taught me a great lesson and I so want to share it with you. I will start by telling you about a pastor I new many years ago. We were in a little cabin in Skwentna Alaska, my home village, having services. Pastor Ron was Praying and as he prayed he took out a big peace of white chock. He continued to pray as he drew a circle around himself on the floor...I heard him Pray, "Lord send a renewing and a revival into this place, and let it start in this circle."
 It wasn't until many years later that I realized that if we want revival we have to be willing to be revived. If we want renewing we have to be willing to let God renew. If we want forgiveness we have to be willing to give it to God. We cannot rely on anyone else to revive or renew us. Only Our God can. Revival starts in one heart.    I draw a circle around myself and pray. Lord send revival into this place tonight. Let it start in this circle!
Tonight I learned that it is so important that we be honest with God in all things. So often I praise him and rejoice in him but letting God or anyone truly know my heart is so hard. I have hid my pain and hurt for so Long its hard to let anyone in.including God!  A week place in my walk is realizing that God wants to know the real me. Not just the person I reveal to him but the person when pretence, and walls are taken away. To be the girl that cries herself to sleep at night and has real feelings.   I learned years ago not to trust and to show feelings makes one week. This is the deception that God has been working on breaking and taking away the blearier that keeps me from being myself with him. To truly accept God's love takes trust. Trusting him with all. Including our hurts.
I am so grateful that God taught me this lesson because now I am free of the depression and sadness that has haunted me for so long. Soon we will be rejoicing in his sweet presents. Lets give him our entire selves today and allow ourselves to be known today. He sees our pain...let us share it with him that he may remove it and restore us with his great Joy!
