To save life though surely we can try,
To give life we surely cannot,
For that’s one task purely, reserved,
For the One from whom life we got.

And save a life when we do,
Worked a miracle really He has,
For if He wished, life he could take or save,
Regardless of our class.

But sincerity He quietly admires,
And of Him, that’s so great,
For without His heavenly grace,
Pathetic would be our fate.

So thank Him we should eternally,
For the credit we take of His work,
And set out we should “imploring” Him,
When Death or Disease in our vicinity does lurk.
