This is what I wrote yesterday based upon the comfort that I heard:

He will keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed upon Thee.
Just for today, I will not try to figure out tomorrow. I will live today and not
yesterday or tomorrow. I will breathe in and out. I will NoT give in to my
emotions or feelings, but trust in His Truth.

“My child, you can’t see what is just beyond the horizon for you; I can.”

“I will run to You, Daddy God. Heal me in the broken places. I can’t walk
without You holding my hand.”

“There is strength within you to stand, My Child. Stand in Hope. You are
somebody’s hero. A new day is dawning. Come away with Me to a quiet
place of rest. I will pour into you all the strength you need, all the power
you need, and all the grace you need. I AM your portion. ONLY I can fill you.”

I will lead the blind by ways they have not known, along unfamiliar paths I will
Guide them; I will turn the darkness into light before them and make the rough
places smooth. These are the things I WILL DO; I will not forsake them. IS 42:16

Oh, Mitzi, you just don't know what a comfort this was to me. May I have your permission to print it out and keep it within reach for the day? And perhaps tomorrow, if I still need it? And perhaps next week?

Mitzi, how poignantly you've penned my own heart's cry ... I cry I so oft' allow the cares of life to bury. But God, our Father, the Self-Existing One, who shows Himself to us by an outpourting of love ... only He can fill me - and because of Grace, He, indeed, is my portion. May I stop trying to figure out 'tomorrow' and simply rest in the NOW of His Presence.

"He will keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed upon Thee."

That's the formula for peace, and nothing else. When our mind is focused on God, instead of ourselves.

Thanks for sharing what our Lord has put in your heart. Blessings, Gloria

So true Mitzi! ("You wrote:
He will keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed upon Thee.") I don't dare let myself dwell on my problems, for that does and always will take me straight to the pits. We must with His help always try to stay focused on Him. Love, Sharon
