One night an angel befriended me. Though at first I was suspicious of him, he took me on a journey through my past days.

I could see my friends and I mocking a poor blind man limping with a cane. The angel told me, "The blind man's name is in the Book of Life."

Our next stop was where a drunken man laid in the ditch, the one we had kicked and spat on. The angel said, "Though many of his problems are of his own doing, his name is in the Book of Life."

Then he looked deep into my eyes and spoke, "If you continue on your present path, your life is in great danger, but far worse, your name is not in the Book of Life. I can guide you, but only through Jesus Christ is there salvation.

When I awoke, I turned my life over to Jesus and was saved.
