Prayers

Today began as any Sunday would, or so I thought. I found myself at the church 3 hours early. This is not an unusual thing for me, but as I stood at the altar praying and seeking God, something wonderful happened.

All the things that I had been holding back, hiding away within my heart God revealed to me. God was spreading them before me at the altar.
I watched and tearfully mourned over these things, when God said.... "Look away from these... Look unto me!" The love I had been proclaiming to everyone I know was suddenly revealed to me. That love of Christ that is sang about, read about and had became.... A fairytale in my heart suddenly was as real as the God who showed it to me.

This all-knowing God, who formed the world, and gave his very life for me before I was even in my mother’s womb, was showing his complete, unconditional love to me; me the one who worshipped idols, the liar, the thief, the unforgiving woman who walked into that church. God loved me. He loves ME!!!

Suddenly I turned my eyes to those things at the alter again... Each one was what I had totaled... UNFORGIVABLE.... God took one by one and wrote FORGIVEN.
