Grief

Today you gather to say goodbye to me, for I have taken my flight and now I am free..

Many tears you shed because you will miss me so, but my life was orchestrated by God a long time ago..

I taught you many things and left you a legacy to remember me by, as you gather by my bedside and began to ask God why?..

I gave you laughter and some I gave you tears, but in the last months of my life I taught you to be courageous and how to conquer your fears..

Watching me suffer was only for a little while, through test and trial, it brought you together you see, it was a divine plan of God to help you all reach your destiny..

Your destiny in this life is to love people, and serve people and prepare to take your flight, and it's your choice to follow me and accept Jesus Christ..

My last moments were personal between me and my savior, no one could stand in my way, for I knew I would meet him on the other side and he came for me that day..

I was sure about my salvation, it was free from God and I accepted it a long time ago, for he loved me more than I could love myself and now I'm free to worship him forevermore..

I'll be waiting on the other side to see all my loved ones face, just remember to love and do for others and accept God's grace..
