When I look to the sky and see it so blue
I remember your there and I think about you
For my life gets so crazy
And out of control
I forget you are waiting
I put you on hold
I throw up a prayer
My lists of requests
I say thanks a million
My lord “you’re the best”
If I get a minute
I’ll give you sometime
So please take a number
Step to the rear of the line
You know that I love you
You know that I care
But right now I am busy
So wait over there
Just sit on that shelf
Be patient and wait
I’ll read a quick line
When I get a break
I’m sorry your dusty
Your covers a mess
I’ll seek you to help me
When I’m feeling some stress
Right now I don’t need you
Right now I’m ok
So don’t be a bother
Don’t be a pain
I gave money on Sunday
I helped feed the poor
What more do you want
Haven’t we evened the score
Right now I can’t argue
Or give you some time
This job that you gave me is going just fine
I needed you once and you set me free
But I got what I want
Now it’s all about me.
