Long ago, cursing and beating a stick into the ground was called
witchcraft. Today it's called golf.

Judging from questions I receive, I get the impression that some
young folks and/or young Christians aren't getting solid Biblical
teaching. There is a feeling that they are getting lots of fluff and
excitement but are being short-changed on basic Biblical training.
I'm hoping that some of you who are youth directors or pastors
will write to me and tell me that isn't true in your church.

I am increasingly concerned about the viability and stamina of the
future Christian Church. Fluff won't cut it against the onslaught
of fiercly dedicated Muslims and other burgeoning religions. We
must know what we believe, why we believe it, and then have the
fortitude to defend it. I believe we have to not only be
increasingly prepared to defend our faith, but that we have to use
counter-offensive measures and be more aggressive.

I'm getting tired of having Christianity made "light of" and
pushed around by the liberal media. However, having some TV
preachers display Christianity like a three-ring circus doesn't help
our image or credibility. The "media" makes me think of
Psa.74:72 (nlt), "Arise, O God, and defend your cause.
Remember how these fools insult you all day long." He defends
His cause through us -- we are His defenders. Jude 1:3 says,
"...urging you to defend the truth of the Good News. God gave
this unchanging truth once for all time to His holy people." It's in
our hands -- our responsibility is to stand tall and be counted.
