what's in your little O' bag
Are there sweets in it, or sour little bits
to make me hold up the flag

O' Life tell me what's on your recipe list
that you want to put on my plate
Will it be a nice juicy prime steak
what do you have in my fate

Will you prepare my table with good news
what will you have all laid out
Will your guest, be worthy of my company
O' life what will it be about

For I know you always come with surprise's
and none of them are the same
Sometimes you throw in, those dirty treats
only for to drive me insane

O' Life you won't call up ahead of time
no you don't always play fair
but brings your game tools out of the blue
O' life you just don't care

One minute your looking good all dressed up
and shining just like pure gold
But what lies under, can even fool the best
if the story can ever be told

But know this O' Life I do know your style
I have wore it many times before
And I'll wear it again by the grace of God
as you do bring me more

For I do know this that I must face you
and look at it as being a test
So here's what I'll do, to help make it fun
I'll put on my strongest vest

So that whatever comes up against me
to try to knock me down
I'll have some protection from the blows
when I face you each round

So O' Life here we go again head to toe
with more lessons I have to learn
And that's ok, I have something to gain
which I know that I must earn
