In all of my troubles I still find strength
while in the battle, my faith will soar
And I feel God's presence in the darkest hour
for all of his promise's are sure

Though battles fought and not all are won
but we have what it's takes to win
For we do have his shoulders to lean on
so to help us to the end

He knows our hearts and can see inside
just how much we can bear
When we lean on him in the thick and thin
he promise that he'll be there

This old building is sided with wisdom
it's windows are panned and sealed
No thief can enter in, without permission
for what God gives is real

Now do you know just what I'm saying;
and your place is covered by him
Has your faith ever reached byond that point
when it had grown dark and dim

When your heart is fixed and settled
you are resting in his word
No weapon can pierce this solid rock
once you gave yourself to serve

So when I ask where is my rainbow,
it's not that I don't believe
But to know his promise was left by it-
reminding me I can recieve

He did promise to fulfill his every word
and we can rely on it to be true
And no matter what comes the work is done
so this promise is nothing new

Though our trails be rocky and rough
our souls are in his care
And this makes our hearts trust him more
in knowing he's just and fair

Now can you foresee all these promise's
that he had left for you and me
And all that he said he will surly do
it was written down in history

His word is sealed and won't come back
it is settled in heaven forever more
So when I did question where is my rainbow
I know the answer and that's for sure
