A housewife can always find time to be alone -- just do the dishes
-- you'll be alone!

I don't know what's going on with AOL again. Yesterday I must
have had at least 50 E-Cheer's returned from AOL addresses
saying, "Mailbox not found."

As one TV personality used to sing at the end of the show, "I'm so
glad we had this time together." Each day I'm privileged to come
into your home or office as a faceless guest. Most of you are
even more faceless because I never hear from you. I'd love to
hear from you, even if you only say, "Hey, you weren't so sharp
today."

Why do we like to communicate? Actually, some folks don't
enjoy it, but most of us enjoy yakking. That's why email and IM
are so popular. After all, what else can you have so much fun at
so economically. Multiply the number of emails you sent last
week by 37¢ -- that's how much you saved. Now, take that
amount and put it in a jar each week to save for missionaries.

Paul was a marvelous communicator. So was Jesus. Since He
preached to thousands on a hillside with no help from a Peavey
P.A. system, He must have had a thundering voice to be heard.
Do you remember the hillside picnic where he fed 5000+? He set
an example for us (Matt. 14:19), "He gave thanks and broke the
loaves." Remember that the next time you go to Wendy's. You
don't have to be a Pharisee and pray in a way so everyone is sure
to see you.. You can quietly say "thanks" and still be heard by the
One who counts. That's communication!
