When the roof is leaking
When the bills need paid
a month ago
When the baby's sick
and the car won't go...
Jesus is there.

When you're sitting alone
When you need a friend
When you travel down a road
that seems to have no end...
Jesus is there

When you're sitting in the darkness
When tears soak your face
When nothing goes right
and everything is out of place...
Jesus is there.

When the discipline seems harsh
and it just won't stop...
When He seems to be pushing it
When life is boiling over the top...
Jesus is still there.

When we take that last breath
When our life on earth is done
What will we say on Judgement Day
when God asks us if we loved His Son...
Jesus will be there too.

He will never leave or forsake us.
He'll be with us
everyday...
From our first breath
to our last...
He'll never go away...
He'll always be there!

Will He sadly walk beside us
wishing we'd call
or will we listen to His voice
and give Him our all?
He promised He'd always be there!
