There is something about God's love
it goes beyond any fault or deed
Though it be right or wrong, here it comes along
and take over and intercede

I'd pick you up when the heart is down
and give your day a brand new start
O' how it interevenes, for any kind of problem
to keep us from falling apart

His love overshadows at any dark hour
it sends peace to calm us down
Such a comfort it gives when the spirit is low
there it is, making it's round

Even when we do have our little hang ups
bad thoughts that can judge wrong
That we don't think how it control our days
but his love it still comes along

Through worries and doubts and our little pouts
his love still beckons when we call
In those hours of despair, he still is there
to catch us before we fall

In the midnight hours he makes his rounds
and right there in the break of dawn
In the frustration state, he doesn't show up late
O' his love it keeps going on

In heartaches and pains his love stays the same
each and every time it makes it's way
Oh can you tell me what manner, of love this is;
that does meet us every day

It does make us strong when we are weak
it strengthens, the torn up mind
It builds back hopes, that were shattered
O'his love is there all the time

Some may bandage up a few bruises and scars
they may even wipe a few tears
But not like God's love, that makes us whole
for his goes beyond the years

O' what manner of love this is-
only the heart can know
For it has felt it, from time to time
as each day he did let it show

Now could it be I have lost a few noodles
and did I, lose a few screws
In how I express this love, of God this way
maybe not, for it's good news
