Give me strength, O Lord,
For dreams, they may come true…
To appreciate life's fullness,
My future comes through you…

Give me strength, O Lord,
Bring sight to all I see…
Change dramatic imagination,
To the calmness of faith's sea…

Give me strength, O Lord,
In recognition of your plan…
To show benevolent compassion,
To others at my hands…

Give me strength, O Lord,
In all I choose to do…
That I selflessly serve others,
Show love's experience through you...

Give me strength, O Lord,
To you - I will my life...
I pray each day to demonstrate your love,
To my children and my wife...
