Prayer is one of the boundless resources,
Available to us each day…
Not a lost art – rather a starting point,
In moving our direction God’s way...

Prayer sets aside our agendas,
God’s priorities mature in full view…
In his vast desire to care for our needs,
God simply will say - “I want to hear it from you”

Prayer requires several admissions,
Recognition of our state as man…
To let go of false securities,
Accept God is God – place trust in His hands…

Prayer is the outpouring of man’s soul,
Humbled hearts shall savor the taste…
In our prayer we must never lose sight,
To seek God’s mercy – be thankful for His grace…

Prayer is to walk in the full light of God,
Conversation with the unseen above…
To express - “I am man and you are God”,
Comprehend man is a sinner and God is love…
