Now the devil's feet and tail is burning
for had stepped on God's coals
When he came to false accuse His children
with the white lies he's told

But when he does this God makes us hotter
and he can't even cool them off
He should have left well alone and go on by
no, he had to go around and scoff

But he didn't know we weren't in his hands
so God just let blow his top
And gave him all the room that he did need
until he told him to stop

So many are in the path of God's fire
their trampling on dangerous ground
With their little nick picks they do in malice
and thinking God's not around

So the mouth runs on like a hot tea kettle
tongues just wagging in this way
O' they'd not all that" we're got their number
this is what their hearts do say

Watch out motor mouth you've dug your hole
so jump in it, and cover yourself up
You had your say, but wasn't what God said
and so your joy has left your cup

For you thought that God was with you
when you had blew your smoke
You didn't stop to see. the hot fire behind
making your judging, to be a yoke

Didn't you know you have touched his coals
that you thought was not so hot
O' how foolish you'll be when it's your turn
so now who did you put on a spot

Some people goes too far with old petty mess
thinking that they have it made
But, God is a God, who tries the heart
and you will surly get paid

For when you shelve it out, I'd come back
and that is each little dirty deed
Didn't the word say, he knows who are his
not those who grows a bad seed

We shouldn't want to be found in their shoes
nor desire to change places with them
Let those think we're coals with no fire
you'll soon know who's had gone dim

Let them keep on singing their own tunes
with music whithout one note
But there's no power in it, but an empty can
that they can no longer can tote

You keep walking with your head held high
and let God lead your way
Stay humble before him with an open heart
and he'll keep you every day

Psalm 91:8 Only with thine eyes shalt thou
behold and see the reward of the wicked

Psalm 25:9 The meek will he guide in judgement
and the meek will he teach his way
