Lord rain down a little more of your mercy
bless the fruits of my efforts with grace
And instill in me more of, your endless love
to be a help in whatever I face

O' grace, O' grace, my soul it appreciates you
for stepping in to answer the call
For without you, my efforts would be fruitless
and it would surly fall

Thank you Lord Jesus for this abounding grace
that just keeps on pouring out
For the things in life, can be hard to chew
while out here on this route

For they can get stuck in one's teeth
as much as we try to not let it be;
And it makes it hard to swallow at times
that only grace can set it free

That's why I have to cry out for more of it-
oh how I need you on this ride
To help me go over, some lumps and bumps
that can be like thorns in your side

Lord your grace helps us to go that extra mile
when the heart it wants to shut down
But then here you come along to give a push
to help us to go another round

For whenever you steps in and takes over
it makes the ride calm and sweet
O' grace, O' grace, I thank the Lord for you
for opening our hearts to greet

for help to make our wheels stay in motion
when it's falling out of line
But you stirs us right through the troubles
and that's each and every time

Lord why some can thank you for small things
while other's are ungrateful with a lot
Is this not the same grace that's given to all
why do others have soon forgot

That without you O' grace we'll be in trouble
for you had came with a price
That the Lord had already paid on the cross
and didn't have to do it twice

Let me put my feathers of pride beneath me
and to always let the Lord carry me
For mines do get a bit weak to hold me up
but his is strong as can be

The word tells me your grace is sufficient
for every load that I can't bear
So I must rely on that, to see me through
when times, life is a bit unfair

Then this road won't be as hard to travel
for I have grace on this ride
Long as I ask to keep it, under my wheels
I'd always be on my side

Lord along with your grace came joy and peace
so to fill my heart each day
And mercy too, will follow wherever I go
to sufficient me in every way

Lord let your grace abide on your children
help our hearts to stay open for you
No matter how rough it gets, help us not forget
it was your grace, that, came through
