The enemy's plot is to sabotage our dreams
he would like to blow them up
And his crew is called, the dream assassins
that tries to overturn our cup

But we got prizes and rewards great and small
that we carry in our hearts pack
Oh we have treasures that's not been touched
and in time they'd come in stacks

Know this, there are no bonds that can hold us;
we are free to speak of God's love
We have been to the valley's of oppression
but had strength from up above

We've been down the trails of disappointments
knew the paths of un-certainties
And we have known the roads of rejections
we know all about realities

We boldly can say we did brave some obstacles
fully aware that others, now are there
That will surly come along to stop our dreams
to pull down the steps of our stairs

Now then some of them may not mean no harm
but they do have a job to do too
So whatever the reason be it for us or against
we accept it, as nothing new

Still we can't let them have our cup of coffee
for them to take and throw it out
But can sweeten it more, for this life of ours
by staying on the right route

And tell ourselves that God made us a winner
he gave us what we would need
So don't settle for less, but reach for the best
and we shall surly succeed

So if we have to take the bad with the good
try to smile and say it's ok;
Tell the bad it's doing a good job, we salute you
but excuse us while we go to pray

O' life we know we have to look you in the face
each time we meet you at the door
We won't hold it against you, in what's behind it
nor will we keep any score

We know we'll meet many things on this road
that will put us to the test;
But that's all right, been down that path before
so go on and give us your best

Don't you know you can't stop a positive person
one's who has seen all kinds of dirt;
Have you not yet realized that we knew the game
after having experienced much hurt

So we're not those who beats against the winds
but we are in there with it;
Come it rain or shine, the heart won't recline
and they'd know, what is fit

In what not to take in to overturn their cups
they know in whom to get a refill
Which is a loving Savior that is rooting on them
for he had taught them the drill

So line up dream assassins for we are here
now show us what you've got
But, it may be a little late, for it's gone ahead
so I'd be hard to put us on the spot

Now we didn't take this trip without a back-up
we have took it before our God
For to get his insight, when things got rough
while out here on this ride

So O' life as we go to sip our cup of coffee
know this, it will not get cold
And we won't have to keep on warming it up
for it's put in God's hands to hold

Our life's cup is secured by the best of hands
and whatever the challenge, let it be;
Oh dream assassins just do what you have to do
and then we soon will see
