Not in the worlds fitting frame,
Nor oceans vast and deep,
Not in the seasons constant churn,
Or top the mountains peak.
Not in the glorious starry night,
Nor mystery of the moon,
Not in the constant ebbing tide,
Or in the roses bloom.
Not in the whispering of the wind,
Nor in the wildly beasts,
Not in materials of this world,
Or riches men won’t keep.

I find you in the only place,
That you declared your part,
I find you resting safely in,
The confines of my heart.


You could vent yourself with thunder,
Declare your presence in the rain,
You could make the mountains tremble,
By speaking loud your name.
You chose silence as companion,
You’re content for us to know,
That when you want attention,
You simply tug upon our soul.
