Lord please help me to continue to humbly lay
my heart before your feet
O' I really need help, to let it stay there
so your spirit, it can greet

Me at the door of my little O' heart
so to fill it with good stuff
I won't get up, but will continue to yield
for it will never be enough

Lord help it to be humble, like a child
so I'd be in your reach
O' Lord please help me to be submissive
in what you have to teach

When you say's to me, to hold my peace
don't let me question why
But, to humbly wait, with patience
for your spirit to reply

Lord you've let your grace to be displayed
on the walls of my heart
Then you covered each room, with your love
to give humbleness it's first start

O' the heart it can't feed on anything less
than what you have to give
And when it falls in-tune with your word
then the soul can surly live

So the humble heart does open it's doors
for the spirit to put more inside
And the God of mercy he'll fill, the hearts room
for it called with a humble cry
