Grief
Look at the setting sun upon the lake
Listen to the stillness of the shoreline
As you reflect quietly, remember me
Upside down life has turned you
Your spirit broken, but
You can see me and remember
When you look into younger eyes
Let my life be a Gods gift to you
Don't count my time in years
But rather what I gave
As the pain and sorrow come
Don't be silent - talk about me often
Let your memories bring you comfort
The tears you shed are your badge of courage
That you carry in my honour
As you remember me
