Sometimes life seems overwhelming,
More than we think we can stand.
But if you’ll reach out to the Lord,
I’m sure He’ll take your hand.

The devil works overtime,
To keep you and God apart.
But if you’ll keep the faith,
I know in my heart,

God will get you through it.

When skies seem gray,
And your spirits are low,
The devil is ecstatic,
Because he thinks he has your soul.

Just keep repeating
“DEVIL GO AWAY !!!
The Lord is in my life and heart.”
Then bow your head to pray.

Thank the Lord for all your blessings,
For all that He has done.
Let Him know you’ll try to keep,
Him as number one.

That doesn’t mean
Your life will be free,
Of pain or sorrow,
Or even tragedy.

It just means God will get you through it.

He’ll give you strength,
When you’re feeling weak.
He’ll give you courage,
When you’re feeling meek.

He’ll bless your life in ways,
You could not imagine at all.
He’ll be there to catch you,
Whenever you may fall.

Sometimes things happen,
That hurt us so bad.
We can’t believe He’d allow us,
To ever feel so sad.

In that weak moment, we may get angry at Him
Because we hurt so much inside.
I believe He understands this,
And will continue to be by our side.

Just ask Him to get you through it.

Sometimes when our spirits are down,
And we’re feeling lost and alone.
It’s up to us to ask God for guidance.
Let Him know we can't make it on our own.

And there are times our faith is weak,
And we don’t feel loved a whole lot.
That’s when those who care for us,
Pray with all they’ve got,

For God to get us through it.

This doesn’t sound like a lot,
But I know it works you see.
Because much of what I’ve mentioned,
Has happened to my loved ones and me.

And I’m here to say, God got us through it.
