and let your request be known to God
For He truly is, the giver of answers
and will be right there by your side

Whenever you feel like all hope is gone
just hang on to the end of the rope
And don't let go, no matter how short
he'll be there to help you to cope

With all your troubles that you give to him
so leave your questions in his care
Unload your problems and do not worry
he did promise he would be there

So no matter how long the hours prolong
even if through the day or night
He is never slack, of any of his promise's
and what is wrong he'll make it right

For he heard your prayers from day one
saw your tears in the midnight hour
And he even knew, your thoughts at times
o' how great and mighty is his power

So now just wait on God he will be by
he has heard your faithful prayer
And you can bank on him to keep his word
for he truly ia always fair
