A Weeping willow;
a Bruised reed;was
my Saviour who suffered
for me.

Heaven’s angels
had to take flight;
standing in the shadows
watching the Son of Man;
being tempted in the
wilderness day and night.

Joy and proclamations
the crowd did sing;The
King riding on a donkey.
Oh too soon for smiles and
cheers to become sinister
thoughts there after;to cry
Crucify the Son of God.

A precious friend to many did
He become.The Son of Man was
betrayed by a kiss. Oh the Lamb
Of God so meek so mild;
God’s Son who came to us;
The Holy Child.

A gathering for His departure
from this earthen ground;
Broken Bread;His Body
His flesh;in memory for the
Holy offering.

Taken like a thief in the
night;betrayed by a Kiss;
The Son of God
falsely accused;and
sent to a death sentence.

Only the Spotless Lamb
could be the Sacrifice;
for the sins of the world;
did He Pay.

He had to become a
Weeping willow a
Bruised reed;
The Rose of Sharon
Beaten scorned His
Flesh did bleed.

Sacrificed for all
mankind’s sin;
The Spotless Lamb;
God’s Only Begotten
Son;hung on a Tree.

He became a Weeping willow;
A Bruised reed; for you
and for me.

We are covered and cleansed
By the Precious blood of
The Lamb;His Spirit has
entered into the Chamber of
our hearts. Oh The Lamb’s
Light entered so we would
never be apart.

A weeping willow;
A bruised reed;
He weeps for those that
do not believe in His
Love and The Father’s
Gift of Heaven’s Dove.

A Bruised Reed was
The Son of God;
who suffered and
died on The Tree.

Oh Jesus Oh Jesus; Thou
gave all to us at
Calvary!
