Written 9-10-05

Know that you a dearly loved,
As I have sought to drive you to Myself;
Affliction for good, trial for My glory,
Myself, for your benefit.

I’m not afraid to strike,
For faithful are My wounds;
You have read My word;
By this, I test you.

You are My David!

My greatest desire,
That you would enjoy Me;
To be still, and know Me

Watch what I bring to pass,
I will amaze you;
You sense this within yourself;
I will stop your mouth,
Having filled it with all My goodness;
I will fill you to the full.

So ask of Me, as you know Me;
I will give it, and far more;
I will bless you,
Beyond anything you can fathom.

And I will keep you to Myself,
By the desire I have planted within you.

So listen to only Me,
You know My voice;
Let it still you, and quiet you;
My joy will quicken you,
And you will do all my pleasure.
