O' house let us begin at the rooftop
where thoughts do gather so much
Like as a chimney that picks up piles of smut
so can the mind the enemy can touch

Therefore I'd need quiet a bit of cleaning
because, other parts do rely on it
If not functing right, the house can come unbalance
and not for long I'd throw a fit

Now while we're at it let us check the ceiling
for to see, if there's any leaks
By allowing rain filled problems, to drip through
and causing it to become a bit weak

There are rooms of the heart with it's walls
that was painted with God's love
But after going through some stormy weathers
I'd need a bit more from above

Now the windows also will need to be washed
and that's from the inside and out
Because of damaging spots that left their marks
making the soul to fret and doubt

For when you look at things from the carnal eyes
it can make your hopes, look a bit dreary
And that's the time to kick out, any forms of doubt
and say, O' house lets do it in a hurry

Those squeaky floors may need new boards
all worn out by the steps It had made
They are now loose as a goose, as the saying goes;
so their not much worth to save

For they have commuted too much on the surface
which makes, the walk, become slow
So O' house let us call up, Jesus the builder
and whatever I need he will know

Every door right now will need to be replaced
so God can send in something new
The old one's had open up, to a few no-goods
now he has better things for you

What better time to upgrade the spiritual house
although standing, it can use a bit more
But it did not suffer defeat, while in the heat
but in this walk it is better to be sure

The reflections of God's love it will shine through
every dark corner of the heart
His word will clean out what, should not be there;
for he knew it from the start

This house does recognize the builders name
the only foundation that was laid
From the roof to bottom, he made the house sound
and the cost had already been paid

Therefore this spiritual house it does not mind
if have to ask for an upgrade of him
But will humbly lay prom and let instruments work
for to make it fit and trim
